The 2007 A4 3.2 Avant Wagon is a 5-passenger compact wagon that, over the years
has emerged as a popular crossover type vehicle. Sporting two trim levels and
engines, the 2.0T Avant Quattro, 3.2 Avant Quattro are both 4-wheel drive, one
housing a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, and the other a 3.2-liter
V6. Either engine comes with your choice of 6-speed manual or a 6-speed
automatic transmission.
Compared with last year's model, the 2007 is roomier, more stylish, and higher
spirited. For example, the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine develops 200 horsepower
(149kW), while the 3.2 liter V-6 powers up to 255 hp (190kW) @ 6500 rpm with 243
lb-ft (328 Nm) @ 3250 rpm. To make a good thing even better, the A4 Avant Wagon
also offers a performance-oriented "S Line" option that not only looks good but
better equips it for road calisthenics, including 18-inch wheels and beefier
235/40 boots. Depending on whether you are carrying extra passengers or not, the
cavernous A4 opens up to hold 28 or 60 cubic feet of cargo space.
Plenty of standard equipment adds value to an already solid automobile,
including dual zone environmental controls and air, power locks, standard
moonroof on the V6, and CD with 6-disc changer. Option packages help outfit each
model with a ton of technological wonders and comfort touches. The Premium
Package offered for the 2.0T includes a moonroof, cowhide upholstery and 17-inch
wheels. Catering more to your needs on the road, the A4 Wagon offers an optional
Convenience Package with a garage door activator, intelligent wipers, a power
passenger seat, self-dimming bi-xenon headlights, an event odometer and
self-darkening mirrors. Not included in a particular package, are individual
options like Sirius satellite radio, satellite navigation, parking proximity
alert, plus attractive natural and alloy trim.
The 3.2 liter V6 boasts a fuel consumption of 17 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, while
the miserly 2.0L gets 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. Unparalleled safety is the

accomplished. The A4 Wagon offers standard front and side airbag protection for
passengers as well as driver, child seat attachments (LATCH), 4-wheel ABS,
