The 2009 BMW 3 Series features 11 trims that range in price from $30,910 to
$50,700. A freshened exterior design includes changes to the shape of the front
end and all new lights - front and back. On the interior, you will find
higher-quality materials and a new design for the powered window switches. Oh
yeah, the BME iDrive system has also been redone to include direct-select keying
and an increased number of programmable memory functions. There's also a new
system for navigation that's far more readable and functional than its
predecessor.
There's also a new engine available in the already-exciting lineup of the BMW 3
Series: a 335d twin-turbo I6 diesel. It runs in clean style while pumping out a
respectable 265 horses and a whopping 425 lb-ft of torque. And it will still
deliver you exceptional fuel efficiency at 23/33 mpg city/highway.
Gasoline-operated trims come stock with a 6-speed manual transmission. The
optional 6-speed automatic transmission comes stock on the new 335d.
The 2009 3 Series BMWs are some of the world's most revered automobiles,
comparable to the Volvo S60 - and they have been enhanced generally for this new
model year. The 3 Series has established itself excellently over decades as the
standard for entry-level luxury cars. There are all styles available: wagons,
coupes, sedans and convertibles. Regardless of the style you go with, the 3
Series BMWs are ingenious blends of comfortable sizing, innovative design,
high-quality craftsmanship and luxurious elegance - all at a price point that
can be afforded by more than those with elite budgets.
The 2009 3 Series BMW pampers owners and riders on the inside. Standard features
include heated mirrors, a 10-speaker sound system that truly rocks, sport-tuned
suspension on the coupes and convertibles, automated climate control, xenon
headlamps and driver's seat memory. Of course, that's just the beginning - and
don't forget about the loads of optional features as well. A fully-loaded 3
Series BMW offers more bells and whistles than most competitors do for thousands
of dollars more.
Let's talk about the speeds of the different 3 Series BMWs. The popular 328i
will take you from 0 to 60 in just 6.4 seconds. The 335i sedans and coupes get
you there in just over 5 seconds flat and the new 335d twin-turbo diesel blasts
off to 60 in a quick 5.9 seconds. Any model you choose is going to put you well
in front of the vast majority of other vehicles on the roads.
The 2009 BMW 3 Series appear that they will have no issues remaining as the
most-sold entry-level luxury car on the planet. They really do offer so much for
very appreciable prices. Definitely difficult to beat by any standards of
comparison, BMW 3 Series autos are some of the overall best on Earth. |
